- ➤ A 2.2 magnitude earthquake hit near Elgin early Tuesday morning and was recorded by USGS at 6:33 a.m. — over 500 people reported feeling the shake in an area known for a recurring swarm of quakes. WYFF
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Health officials reported over 550 measles cases in Upstate counties since Jan. 7—22 students are in quarantine at Crestview Elementary and another school in Anderson County reported cases, with eight people hospitalized as holiday travel likely spurred the outbreak. Spartanburg.com
