- ➤ South Carolina health officials confirmed two additional storm-related deaths in Laurens County—an 85-year-old man on Wednesday and a 91-year-old woman on Friday—from hypothermia during last weekend's ice storm, raising the count to six, with fatalities also reported in Oconee and Charleston counties.
