- ➤ Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport served over 3 million passengers in 2025 — its busiest year since opening in 1962 — as new nonstop routes and extended schedules boosted capacity; officials expect traffic to rise another 4–5 percent in 2026. Go Upstate
