GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Spartanburg County launched the Vision Zero Dashboard today — a tool that tracks crash data to help law enforcement focus on high-risk areas — following a Feb. 6 news conference that urged safe driving after 74 fatalities in 2025. Go Upstate
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The state health department reported 920 measles cases and a large increase in vaccinations in January, including a 162% jump in Spartanburg. A case was reported in Sumter (the first outside the Upstate) and a senator has proposed a bill requiring school immunizations. Spartanburg.com
