On Feb. 26, Spartanburg County Council voted to block tax incentives for a $3B TigerDC data center, deferring new tax breaks for data centers until state laws regulate them.

TigerDC warned it might relocate the project if the deal fails to pass.

Spartanburg has reported nearly 1,000 measles cases since October while health officials note a decline in new cases, though some patients remain hospitalized.

State Sen. Kimbrell hosted a town hall on Feb. 26 at the Boiling Springs Fire Department — where vaccine safety and exemptions sparked debate.
