- ➤ Veterinary technology students at Tri-County Technical College drafted a document on March 2 after the department head resigned, citing missed instruction & delayed lab animals. The college said its accreditation remains secure and a dean is serving as interim head to maintain class continuity. WYFF

- ➤ Upstate Ingles has opened voting for its high school girls Athlete of the Week covering March 2-8, with finalists including Delaney Caldwell (Landrum), Mia Gallello (Riverside), Evelyn Gomez Reyes (Spartanburg), Jayden Irby (Eastside) and Jaden Fleming (Daniel); votes are accepted until noon March 12.
