  • Authorities resumed a search for missing hiker Stephanie Womacks at Table Rock State Park on Tuesday, March 11 after a rain delay. Womacks, 52, was last seen on March 5 and agencies using canine teams and aerial support ask local residents for tips—her family is working closely with law enforcement.  Go Upstate
  • Clear skies in the Upstate are expected early Friday for a rare total lunar eclipse. The eclipse begins at 1 a.m.—the moon is fully in shadow from 2:26 to 3:31 a.m.—and it will appear red because Earth’s air makes blue light scatter.  WYFF

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Two people died in a crash early Thursday morning on Highway 290 near Anderson Mill Road when a Honda struck the driver's side of a Nissan turning from a driveway—both victims died at the scene, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.  WYFF
