- ➤ Westside’s Khalia Hartwell was named South Carolina girls basketball Gatorade Player of the Year after averaging 12.5 points and 8.3 rebounds in her standout junior season. She is the first Upstate player to win the award in 11 years. Go Upstate
- ➤ CBS will reveal today at 6 p.m. the NCAA Tournament brackets + eight teams are set to play at Bon Secours Arena in Greenville on March 19 and 21, with Duke predicted as the top seed. Go Upstate
- ➤ West beat East by 100-92 in the Upstate All-Star high school boys basketball game on March 14 at Wofford. Woodmont's AJ Williams and Riverside's Sebi Boyogueno were named MVPs (their teams shined in the contest). Go Upstate
