  • Michelin will host a hiring event at the CC Woodson Community Center on Wednesday, March 19 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. — the company seeks manufacturing professionals for its Spartanburg facility and asks interested candidates to apply in advance for the Production Operator position.  WSPA

CULTURE NEWS

  • Spartanburg PAL will work with Spartanburg Water and the local art museum to cover sewer pipes along River Birch Trail between Willy Taco and East Main Street with adhesive vinyl art — artists may submit proposals by March 28, and the first 20 feet is scheduled for unveiling in May with a $3,000 honorarium. PAL plans more installations on other trails if additional projects get funded.  The Post and Courier
