- ➤ Deputies responded Tuesday after a shooting at a Spartanburg County convenience store on Asheville Highway where a victim was shot and taken to the hospital for surgery; they later arrested 20-year-old Brayan Alexander Borjas-Martinez near a gas station on Highway 292—he has confessed to the crime and now faces charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
