- ➤ Sully’s Steamers, known for its steamed bagel sandwiches from 15 locations, will open a new spot at GSP Airport later this month—bringing local flavor to travelers. - ➤ A Greenville-based sandwich shop will open its new location at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in late April to serve travelers from 4:30 a.m. until the last flight departs. - ➤ BMW Manufacturing responded to White House Senior Trade Advisor Peter Navarro’s remarks made during a CNBC interview that questioned the plant’s operations by stating that the Spartanburg facility has been a key part of global production for over 30 years. The company said the 8-million-square-foot plant assembles 1,500 BMW Sports Activity Vehicles daily & supports nearly 43,000 jobs in the area. WSPA

- ➤ Three former deputies said FBI agents interviewed them about Sheriff Wright’s alleged request for prescription pills and misuse of a county credit card—including a $422 hotel charge in Spartanburg—as part of a federal probe while the sheriff began medical leave last week. The Post and Courier
- ➤ 42 year old Mikal Mahdi will be executed by firing squad on Friday after being convicted for the 2004 murder of Capt. James Myers, an off-duty officer who was ambushed, shot nine times and set on fire. Go Upstate

- ➤ Spartanburg County has released an interactive pavement condition map — it shows red, yellow and green lines that tell residents if their roads are in poor, fair or good condition.
