- ➤ South Carolina added nearly 80,000 new residents from July 2024 to July 2025. Upstate areas including Spartanburg, Greenville, and Anderson saw strong growth driven by job opportunities & tax friendly policies that attract new workers and retirees. Go Upstate
- ➤ The Industrial Plastics Group plant in Liberty laid off 74 employees last week from its 245-person workforce on Cartee Road – nearly one-third of the staff were let go according to a South Carolina WARN report. WYFF

- ➤ Upstate Ingles high school invites local fans to vote for the boys athlete of the week covering April 6—12. Voting will close at noon on April 16 and finalists include Hudson Cremmins and Colter Crosby. Go Upstate
