- ➤ Douglas Hilton Gilbert has been charged with murder in the death of Connor Ethan Lloyd, who was fatally shot at his home in Lyman in August 2021—officers linked him to earlier accessory arrests of Kendra Leigh Wilson and Cynthia Wilson and booked him at the Spartanburg County Detention Center. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Spartanburg County said on Wednesday that recycling bins will now take paper cups, making it the first FPI partner in South Carolina and the fourth in the Carolinas. The county worked with the Foodservice Packaging Institute—launching an education campaign with new flyers, signs, and social media posts—to teach residents how to prepare cups for recycling. WYFF
