- ➤ Two southbound lanes on I-85 near Wellford are closed today due to hazardous materials spilling after a semi-truck hit debris and punctured its fuel tank—first responders are clearing the crash with no injuries reported and full lane restoration expected to take hours. WSPA
- ➤ A hazardous materials spill has closed two lanes of Interstate 85 southbound at Exit 68 near Wellford and the South Carolina Highway Patrol is working with crews as emergency vehicles guide slow-moving traffic—northbound lanes remain open. Go Upstate
