- ➤ Spartanburg County now provides free court representation and legal safety planning for domestic violence victims through nonprofit Project Rest, which launched its services at the courthouse in August 2024. The program covers Spartanburg, Union and Cherokee counties + aims to help victims secure orders of protection so they do not face court alone. WSPA

- ➤ A multi-strategy investment firm announced on Monday that Spartanburg County will host a new $2.8 billion computing center at 4000 South Pine Street, repurposing the former Kohler manufacturing plant. The project will add 27 local jobs— and operations are set to begin between July and September. WSPA
