Good morning, Spartanburg.

Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol released details about a deadly motorcycle crash near Highway 101 and Highway 80 in Greer at about 4:05 p.m.—a motorcycle struck a car attempting a left turn, and the coroner said 57-year-old Jim Puckett died at the scene while the car driver was taken to the hospital.

The Minnesota Vikings selected Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, a standout from Gaffney and Georgia, with the No. 139 pick in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

He is expected to use his size and speed to build a strong pass rush — though his limited college snaps could challenge his transition to the pros.

Clemson running back Phil Mafah was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys on April 26 as the 239th overall pick in the seventh round—he recorded 1,115 rushing yards and eight touchdowns last season and will compete while recovering from shoulder surgery.
