- ➤ Deputies from the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office responded to a drive-by shooting on Viaduct Road in Spartanburg County where a dark SUV with green wheel lights was seen and a woman was injured while showering—no suspect has been identified. WSPA

- ➤ Officials reported that a 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at 9:05 a.m. Saturday in East Tennessee and was felt across Greenville, Anderson, Oconee, Pickens + Spartanburg counties; the USGS said its epicenter was about 21 kilometers southeast of Greenback and warned that aftershocks may occur in the coming days.
