- ➤ Voters can select this week's Upstate Ingles high school boys athlete from Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson until noon on May 14. The candidates include baseball standout Jack Bailey + lacrosse hero Jaiden Kocak, as well as several others who excelled during May 4-10. Go Upstate
- ➤ USC Upstate softball, a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament, will face Alabama in the Tuscaloosa Regional on May 15 at 1 p.m. The contest follows their Big South win and marks the team's third straight tournament appearance under coach Chris Hawkins. Go Upstate
