- ➤ Organizers of the second annual Piedmont Publishing Symposium say writers, publishers, students and recent graduates will attend practical sessions on book publishing at the Rosalind Sallenger Richardson Center for the Arts at Wofford College on May 20-21 in Spartanburg. - ➤ USC Upstate's historic softball run ended yesterday with a 9-0 loss to Alabama in the Tuscaloosa Regional final; the Spartans reached their first NCAA regional championship game by winning two elimination games over the weekend.
