  • At Memorial Stadium on Saturday, May 23, J.L. Mann girls soccer lost to Wando after overtime ended in a 1-1 tie and was decided by penalty kicks. The loss challenges the defending state champs as they plan to bounce back next season.  Go Upstate
  • Southside boys soccer won its first state championship on May 22 in Columbia when Gray Collegiate was defeated 3-0. Erik Martinez (10) scored two goals while Adriel Rodriguez added one as they clinched the 4A title.  Go Upstate
  • Eastside girls soccer lost 4-0 to Chapin in the state championship on May 23 at Memorial Stadium, but senior Lydia Parker stayed positive — thanking teammates and coach David Craig for a team first approach that has kept them focused on future success.  Go Upstate
