- ➤ On Saturday around 11 p.m., Spartanburg Police said that Daquan Boyd broke into his grandmother’s home on Beaumont Avenue by smashing the backdoor window and was seen with a stolen pistol as she hid in a closet—he was later taken into custody at Spartanburg County Detention Center and charged with burglary, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and related firearm offenses.
