- ➤ Spartanburg police say on Sunday after 1 p.m. they found a white man dead next to an open U-Haul truck near the Valero gas station on John B White Sr. Boulevard—items like a mattress, a purple bra and a cell phone were nearby as officials call the death suspicious. WYFF
- ➤ Spartanburg police investigated an employee at Spill the Beans who was tricked into transferring thousands after a scammer posing as a police officer instructed her to empty registers, tip jars, lock box, and withdraw cash from her bank – the owner declined to press charges as the investigation continues.
