ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • One person was killed and another was critically injured in a crash on Highway 14 near Oak Grove Road just after 6:20 p.m. on Monday; troopers said a 2007 Dodge truck was struck by a motorcycle, leaving the truck driver uninjured while the motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital and his passenger died at the scene.  WYFF

  • An unidentified female died when she was struck by a train at 2:10 p.m. on June 3rd near Union Street just south of Country Club Road in Spartanburg + Spartanburg Police are investigating the incident.  WSPA

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The South Carolina DMV warns residents of a scam text that claims a final notice for unpaid traffic tickets — the message threatens to suspend drivers' registration and privileges, add extra fees, and even affect credit scores. Officials advise residents to block and delete the text and check SCDMVonline.com to confirm legitimate communication.  WSPA
