Spartanburg County’s new 945-acre Glendale Nature Park has opened with over 3 miles of hiking trails — it runs along Lawson’s Fork Creek and connects to adjacent protected lands.

The park was saved from a planned 1,000-home development by a $25 million purchase and a conservation easement held by SPACE — more trails will be added in the future.
