On Monday, June 23, Spartanburg Water System had a water main break caused by a contractor that led to low water pressure for some customers.

The affected main is being repaired and tested to ensure safety—customers are advised to boil water for at least one full minute before use—until further notice.

A water main break led to a boil water advisory for parts of Spartanburg County (Monday).

Residents are advised to boil all water before use (a safety measure) until the issue is resolved.
