- ➤ The Union County Sheriff's Office found a woman dead in a car on Munro Street Friday — investigators from the sheriff's and coroner’s offices are looking into the case. WYFF
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Tropical Storm Chantal was upgraded Saturday morning with 40 mph winds as the storm moved from off Georgia and Florida, and a tropical storm watch covered the South Carolina coast from Edisto Beach to Little River. It made landfall between Charleston and Georgetown Saturday night — rough surf and rip currents affected the coast while the Upstate may see stray showers today. WYFF
