On Tuesday afternoon, a deputy on Highway 11 near Caldwell Road in the Campobello area tried to stop a vehicle that fled before crashing into a wooded patch—one occupant died while the other was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Spartanburg police are asking for help to locate 17-year-old Anthony McKenny, who was last seen on Saturday when his parents reported seeing him at 10 p.m. on July 5 and video surveillance captured him leaving his apartment in his boxers at 3 a.m.—community members are urged to share any information they have.
