ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A crash involving a tractor-trailer on I-26 east near mile marker 17 has blocked all lanes—except one westbound lane—while officials advise commuters to use New Cut Road or Boiling Springs Road until crews clear the scene.  WSPA

CRIME NEWS

  • Deputies executed a search warrant Tuesday at a home on West Henrietta Street in Union and arrested three suspects aged 26, 41 and 39 after seizing about 7.6 ounces fentanyl, pills, 87 grams marijuana and two firearms — officials said the raid was crucial to keep the community safe.  WYFF

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Startex-Jackson-Wellford-Duncan Water District issued a boil water advisory Wednesday after a water main break on Duncan Reidville Road — between Berry Shoals and Rogers Bridge roads and including the Reid Park subdivision; residents were told to boil their water for at least one full minute before drinking or cooking until the issue is resolved.  WYFF

HEALTH NEWS

  • The South Carolina Department of Public Health confirmed a measles case in an Upstate resident who was unvaccinated and exposed on an international trip; the individual is isolating at home while DPH contacts those who may have been exposed—this is the first confirmed case since September 2024.  WYFF
