- ➤ Andy Gardea, who had multiple warrants, led Duncan police on a chase starting at 7:20 p.m. on East Main Street as he drove along Pine Ridge Road and Holly Springs Road before crashing near Friendship Baptist Church when he hit a pole in a ditch—he said he tried to eat drug contraband and now faces charges including failure to stop, reckless driving, felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful carry, possession of drug paraphernalia, a second DUI offense, and an open container charge while he is taken for medical care.
