- ➤ The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said five deputies used deadly force on suspect Johnny Andrew Collins on May 29 near Cannon Road after he refused to surrender and raised a hatchet, & the State Law Enforcement Division & the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office are investigating the case. WSPA
- ➤ Gaffney resident Joshua Wood (46) was fatally shot at a nightclub on West Birnie Street after an argument turned violent; he was taken to Cherokee Medical Center and Spartanburg Regional Medical Center where he died during surgery and officials said the investigation is ongoing. WSPA
