- ➤ A 7-month-old boy, Zymir Demarco Smith, was fatally shot while he slept with his mother at 314 Collins Ave at 4:15 a.m. Aug. 3, police said — several people fired into the apartment from outside and authorities are investigating the incident as a homicide. The Post and Courier
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Converse University’s MEd in Art Education students gathered today on campus for a two-week summer intensive to improve studio material culture and digital media skills — an immersive residency that sharpened art teaching techniques.
