- ➤ Spartanburg’s WestGate Mall banned mall walkers (after security saw them letting others in before opening) and a sign in the food court states the mall walking program is suspended from April 1 until August 31 (a measure meant to improve safety following years of disruptive behavior). - ➤ Milo's Tea Company announced today that it is targeting over $1 billion in retail sales by 2027 after opening its fourth manufacturing and distribution facility in Spartanburg, a $200 million site set to hire about 200 associates when fully staffed — this move marks a major step for the family-owned business. - ➤ Three local businesses have set up shop along the Rail Trail in downtown Spartanburg as photos from July 15 show the Rail Yard area bustling with new developments.
