- ➤ One person was killed on Saturday in a wreck near 5301 Highway 9 in Inman — Francisco Jose 'Poncho' Ocampo of Spartanburg died at the scene and the Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. WSPA

- ➤ Hyder Farms, a family-run operation in Spartanburg County with over 17,000 peach trees, has grown peaches for a century and now distributes its crops to markets in Spartanburg, Greenville, Simpsonville, Easley, and Travelers Rest—its season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day with hand-pruned trees and H-2A visa workers.
