GOVERNMENT NEWS

HEALTH NEWS

  • Some United Healthcare customers may soon lose access to Spartanburg Regional Health System if both parties do not reach a fair deal in contract talks. REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Spartanburg city council approved a $70M project on Aug. 25 to turn the former Beaumont Mill site into a 275-unit apartment complex with a pool and gym. The development will include tax breaks for 15 years and a bike and pedestrian connection to the Daniel Morgan Trail System—247 market-rate and 28 workforce housing—while traffic studies show little impact on the Beaumont neighborhood.  The Post and Courier
