  • ZF Chassis Systems Duncan announced today that it will expand its Spartanburg operations with a $55.4 million investment to create 30 new jobs and build a 477,360-square-foot facility at 171 International Park Drive—operations will begin in September 2027.  Spartanburg.com

CULTURE NEWS

  • Spartanburg Philharmonic will kick off its Bluegrass Spartanburg season by hosting The Krüger Brothers—an internationally renowned bluegrass act performing with a full orchestra—at the historic Twichell Auditorium at Converse University on Saturday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m.  Spartanburg.com
  • Spartanburg will host several live shows in October including The Righteous Brothers’ Lovin’ Feelin’ Farewell Tour on Oct. 11 at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium — with additional events featuring a Bee Gees tribute and local artists at venues like Fretwell and FR8yard.   • An Upstate woman won $150,000 in a Powerball drawing when her lucky number — played as 4, 40, 44 with Powerball 4 — matched four white balls after she added PowerPlay at a 7 Eleven on Moore Duncan Highway; the store earned a $1,500 commission for selling the winning ticket and she joked that the prize is not enough for her to quit her job.  WSPA
