- ➤ The Spartanburg County Public Library opened a $15M planetarium and maker space in downtown Spartanburg today, featuring a 50-foot dome with 135 seats and a lab named after Kitty Black Perkins with 3-D printers and embroidery machines. The project was funded through bonds, savings, and donations—Gov.
