ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Duke Energy plans a rate hike for nearly 680,000 Upstate customers in 2026, but a settlement may lower the initial rise to 84 cents a month instead of a 7.6% increase—pending approval by the South Carolina Public Service Commission. The change is set to begin on March 1 if approved. Go Upstate
