🏥 Health
On Dec. 12, the Department of Public Health reported 15 new measles infections in Spartanburg County, with two public schools placing students under quarantine due to household exposures + officials noting that 11 schools and 303 residents are affected.
Health officials continue to investigate the outbreak.
Spartanburg residents are urged to sign up for Affordable Care Act plans soon as pandemic-era tax credits that lower premiums expire by year’s end.
Health experts advise that even if costs increase, residents may consult a healthcare navigator + agent before enrollment closes on Monday.
