HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ On Dec. 12, the Department of Public Health reported 15 new measles infections in Spartanburg County, with two public schools placing students under quarantine due to household exposures + officials noting that 11 schools and 303 residents are affected. - ➤ Spartanburg residents are urged to sign up for Affordable Care Act plans soon as pandemic-era tax credits that lower premiums expire by year’s end. Health experts advise that even if costs increase, residents may consult a healthcare navigator + agent before enrollment closes on Monday. WYFF
