- ➤ Two former Greenville County deputies have launched Proactive Response Group to offer interactive active shooter training to local residents. The program teaches how to spot early warning signs, choose safe exits and use first aid tools + practical tactics to save lives at events across the Upstate. WYFF

- ➤ Spartanburg County pediatricians and parents are concerned about a measles outbreak that threatens infants too young to be vaccinated — pediatric nurse Amy Rush advises family members to vaccinate, avoid large crowds, and consult doctors for possible early vaccination. WYFF

- ➤ Liberty's Paul Sutherland is set to coach South Carolina against North Carolina in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas on Dec. 20 at Spartanburg High. Go Upstate
- ➤ Former Gamecock quarterback Steve Taneyhill, known for his signature mullet and flair that united athletes, is remembered by South Carolina sports after his death was announced on Dec. 1.
