- ➤ Spartanburg Community College has announced that its successful Live to Chase initiative will return for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering full-tuition scholarships to eligible students (who must live or work in South Carolina). Spartanburg.com
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Spartanburg Medical Center paid $100,000 to settle federal charges over an alleged patient dumping incident that occurred on May 17, 2024 at its emergency department on E. Wood St. The hospital stated it settled without admitting wrongdoing and remains committed to patient safety under EMTALA. The Post and Courier
