A drive-up coffee shop on Spartanburg's east side (1624 E.
Main St.) will close at year-end, according to Little River Roasting Co. The small hut served weekday commuters and local medical center staff and is one of four locations run by the company.

The local Orangetheory Fitness studio is offering a $2 per day membership from Dec.
26 through Jan. 31 to help residents kickstart their 2026 fitness goals. The workout program mixes cardio & strength training for all fitness levels.
Spartanburg Medical Center paid $100K in a settlement for an alleged EMTALA violation after a May 2024 patient transfer put the patient at serious risk, and the hospital said it remains committed to patient safety and federal compliance.
