About this event
Mindful Walk & Talk: An Evening Transition in Nature
Trade the evening "to-do" list for the trail. Our Mindful Walk & Talk is an intentional, in-person gathering at Conestee Nature Preserve designed to help you process the day, lower cortisol, and reconnect with your body as the sun begins to set.
Guided by Jessica Lee Reader (Master Nutrition Therapist & Yoga Teacher with 17+ years of experience), this isn't just about "getting your steps in." It’s about returning to your steady ground through rhythmic movement, sensory awareness, and community connection.
The Flow of Our Hour:
Gather & Ground: An intention-setting practice at the trailhead to leave the workday behind.
Mindful Movement: A gentle, guided walk through the trails incorporating sensory awareness.
Sound & Stillness: A seated meditation accompanied by the grounding vibrations of a singing bowl.
Shared Connection: Closing reflections to prepare you for a restful evening at home.
